Dear Sir / Madam,
We, the undersigned, wish to express our concerns relating to the activities of the SBCCU on campus – and within the community.
While we are concerned about the impact up on those of the Islamic faith, we feel this is a wider issue which has the potential to affect all students.
We feel that the influence of the unit compromises the freedom of students and therefore the integrity of the University.
We are concerned that the Student Advisory Service agreed to allow the SBCCU on campus at the recent Fresher’s Fayre and wish to discuss how why this decision was reached. We are aware this arrangement is ongoing.
To this end we request a meeting between our representatives and the SAS. As this is a matter of some urgency we look forward to hearing from you at the earliest instance. Please reply via dundeestudentsocialist@inbox.com
