Communist Students Executive meeting,

1) Division of labour - Executive:
- Finance (Jamie)
- Membership secretary (David)
- Spokesperson/national organiser (Ben - who will also be CS delegate
in Iran campaign)
- Events and interventions (we suggest Jim)
- Communications officer, study circles etc (James)
- CS editor (Tina - though strong collective input needed)
2) Division of labour - outside Executive
We suggest the following posts to be filled:
- A comrade to produce a weekly(ish) email bulletin
to all students
who've left their details with us.
- A comrade to produce banner for CS in time for Socialist Youth
Network conference on January 13
- A few comrades to monitor email lists and websites, informing rest of
CS of any interesting debates/meetings etc
3) Socialist Youth Network
- Dave to coordinate our intervention in terms of
motions (in
cooperation with James) etc
4) Other issues
- We suggest that Jim should draw up a letter to
other left groups (as
suggested in his pre-conference correspondence).
- Next executive meeting on January 14 in London (would be good date,
as the founding conference of the Socialist Youth Network take place on
the 13th in London).
