The ideas of revolutionary Marxism as the guiding light of student and working class unity are needed now – not at some undefined point in the future. We realise that these ideas are currently in a clear minority both on campus and in society more generally. But precisely due to Marxism’s explanatory power and its inspiring perspective of human liberation, if the left openly fights for Marxism then this situation can be taken forward so that we become the majority.

This is the battle of ideas that CS is committed to, and we call on all those who share this aim to join us!  As well as our four active branches, there are CS members across the country, from Leeds to Swansea, and Exeter to Scunthorpe.
