Conference 2010

EDUCATE – AGITATE – ORGANISE

Communist Students National Conference 2010

————————————————————————————————–

CS Conference took place on Saturday April 17  at the University of Manchester Students’ Union, Steve Biko Building, Oxford Road Manchester. The conference report by Liam Conway can be found here.

The capitalist crisis, the coming cuts across the public sector and Higher Education as well as the ongoing imperialist occupations, threats and sanctions in the middle pose the need to organise struggle and forge a political alternative on campuses. We will be looking to strengthen our organisation and the campaigning work we have done over the last twelve months as well as taking on the wrong-headed approach taken up by the majority of the student left when it comes to organising on campus, fighting openly for socialism and democracy both within the movement and in wider society.
